Dear Pine Trails Families,
It is a very exciting time for Pine Trails Elementary!
The state of Michigan has awarded us the status of being a *REWARD school. Every year the state of Michigan recognizes schools that are in the top 5% percent and/or making the largest gains in being proficient in state testing. In the last three years we have grown from being 11% to now being 79% proficient according to M-Step testing. This award was given to 219 schools in the state and we are one of three in the county to have been given this distinction. I would like to thank all of the staff, students and their families at Pine Trails Elementary for making this possible. Their continued dedication to Pine Trails and to all of Allegan Public schools is noticed, and their love is felt every day.
Parents, please keep working with your children at home. In addition, we look forward to seeing all of you at Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, February 13 and Thursday, February 16.
Jaym Abraham, Principal
